National Register Home on a triple lot. Henry J Klutho designed this home for himself having already established himself as the premier architect in the city after the Great Fire. Originally on Main St next to the Klutho Apartments he designed. Klutho built a handful of homes in Jacksonville but none featuring the Prairie style to this extent. The house flows compared to other houses of the time that were more divided. The walls to the main sitting area do not go completely to the ceiling which aided in air flow. All bedrooms have windows on three sides. The front part of the residence is for living and the back side of the residence is for service.
