Tired of paying rent with nothing to show for it at the end of each year, I started exploring the condo market with my friend and Realtor, Lynn. I knew I must have a single story flat with an attached garage and a screened porch with a beautiful view, but had no idea how hard it would be to find what I was looking for located close to my work and family, with monthly fees I could afford. Oh, and it needed to have an open kitchen with plenty of room for my 10 book club ladies to gather around my dining table and park nearby. It was a pretty big ask, but I was determined not to move until I found a home that filled all of these requirements. We looked for weeks and finally found this condo that checked all the boxes plus a few--concrete block construction plus a low-risk flood zone!
